How to choose and who you work with
Online psychologist
An online psychologist offers psychological support and psychotherapy by video, without needing to travel. The most important choice is the person you work with: look for an accredited psychologist with clear training and a method they can explain. I am a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, accredited by the College of Psychologists in Romania (code 15451), and I work online.
Online CBT session, 50 minutes: €100. Payment and scheduling are confirmed before the session.
Who this is for
- You are looking for a psychologist to work with consistently online.
- You want clarity about accreditation, training, and method.
- You prefer the comfort and privacy of sessions from home.
Who this is not for
- You need psychiatric evaluation or medication. Those are handled by a psychiatrist.
- You are in crisis or immediate danger. You need emergency support.
- You are looking for a quick test or diagnosis without therapeutic work.
How we work
Not every online psychologist works the same way. I work exclusively in CBT, one of the best-supported approaches for anxiety, panic, and depression, and I tell you openly if I am not the right person for your situation.
- 01
Check accreditation
A clinical psychologist has a license to practice from the College of Psychologists in Romania. You can ask for and verify this at any time. Mine is 15451.
- 02
Understand the method
Ask what approach they use and why. I work in CBT, structured and goal-oriented, not as a vague mixture of techniques.
- 03
Start with an assessment
The first sessions clarify what brings you to therapy and set observable goals that we follow together.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between psychologist, psychotherapist, and psychiatrist?
- A clinical psychologist assesses and offers psychological support; a psychotherapist has additional training in a therapy method, in my case CBT; a psychiatrist is a physician and can prescribe medication. I am a clinical psychologist and CBT psychotherapist. I do not prescribe medication, but I can refer you to a psychiatrist when needed.
- How do I choose a good online psychologist?
- Check accreditation, ask what method they use and whether they have experience with your difficulty, and notice whether they explain things clearly. A serious psychologist does not promise guarantees and tells you when they are not the right fit.
