Online psychologist for anxiety
Anxiety is not a character weakness. It is an alarm system that has become too sensitive. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is one of the best-supported treatments for anxiety: it helps you identify catastrophic thoughts, reduce avoidance, and regain control. Sessions are online.
Online CBT session, 50 minutes: €100. Payment and scheduling are confirmed before the session.
Who this is for
- You struggle with excessive worry, tension, or constant restlessness.
- You avoid more and more situations because of anxiety.
- You want concrete strategies, not just "relax."
Who this is not for
- You have new, unexplained physical symptoms. It is best to have them assessed by a physician first.
- You are in an acute crisis or immediate danger.
- You are looking for medication. That should be discussed with a psychiatrist.
How we work
In CBT for anxiety, we work with the mechanism that keeps it active: danger-based interpretations and avoidance behaviors that calm you short-term but strengthen fear long-term.
- 01
Cognitive restructuring
You learn to recognize catastrophic thoughts and test them realistically instead of treating them as facts.
- 02
Gradual exposure
You gradually approach avoided situations in manageable steps, so fear can decrease naturally.
- 03
Validated regulation skills
We use research-supported breathing, attention, and tension-management methods, not miracle techniques.

„I gained a much better understanding of how I think and what triggers certain reactions.”

Frequently asked questions
- How long until results appear?
- It depends on the situation, but many people notice improvement in the first few weeks of consistent work. CBT is usually short- to medium-term and goal-oriented.
- Do I need medication?
- Not necessarily. For many forms of anxiety, CBT alone is effective. If medication might be useful, I can refer you to a psychiatrist. The medication decision belongs to the physician.
- How do online sessions work?
- Sessions take place by video, on a secure platform, and last 50 minutes. You only need a stable internet connection and a private space. Payment and scheduling are confirmed before the session.
