Online psychologist for depression
Depression is not laziness or lack of willpower, and it is not just sadness. It is a real condition with biological, psychological, and social factors, and it responds well to treatment. CBT helps you gradually reactivate life and work with the thoughts that maintain the state. Sessions are online.
Online CBT session, 50 minutes: €100. Payment and scheduling are confirmed before the session.
Who this is for
- You feel low energy and little interest in things you used to enjoy.
- You have repeated negative thoughts about yourself, the future, or life.
- You want a structured plan to move out of this state step by step.
Who this is not for
- You have thoughts of harming yourself or are in immediate danger. You need urgent support now, not a scheduled session.
- You are looking exclusively for medication treatment. That is decided with a psychiatrist.
How we work
Depression maintains itself: low energy leads to withdrawal, and withdrawal deepens the state. CBT intervenes in that loop through small, realistic steps.
- 01
Behavioral activation
We gradually reintroduce activities that bring meaning and satisfaction, even when motivation is low, because action often comes before mood.
- 02
Cognitive restructuring
We work with automatic negative thoughts about the self, future, and world, and test more balanced alternatives.
- 03
Relapse prevention
We build tools you can use on your own to recognize signs early and reduce the risk of relapse.

„I can say I became a better person, much more optimistic after the sessions with him.”
If you are facing a crisis
Scheduled online CBT sessions are not an emergency service and do not replace crisis intervention. If you have thoughts of harming yourself, are in immediate danger, or are worried about your life or someone else’s life, ask for help now:
- 112 — European emergency number for immediate danger.
- DepreHUB — 0374 456 420 — Free and confidential crisis line, available 24/7 in Romania.
- TelVerde Antisuicid — 0800 801 200 — Romanian Alliance for Suicide Prevention (free call in Romania).
Frequently asked questions
- Does depression pass by itself?
- Sometimes mood improves over time, but untreated depression tends to return and last longer. Treatment, including CBT and sometimes medication prescribed by a physician, can shorten the episode and reduce relapse risk.
- Do I also need a psychiatrist?
- It depends on severity. For mild and moderate forms, CBT alone is often effective. For more severe forms, therapy plus medication may be recommended, and medication is handled by a psychiatrist.
- How do online sessions work?
- Sessions take place by video, on a secure platform, and last 50 minutes. You only need a stable internet connection and a private space. Payment and scheduling are confirmed before the session.
